Associates is a full service engineering firm
founded in 1981 by M. Harry Wartur, P.E. Our staff of experts
are well qualified to perform structural design, site work design,
i.e., roadways, driveways, drainage and sanitary facilities
and full scale construction/project management services. In
addition we offer comprehensive environmental surveys, including
inspections and preparation of environmental assessments and
impact statements in accordance with applicable laws. We are
also engaged in the following:
1.
Building inspections for the purpose of examining and evaluating
existing conditions covering all structural elements, the facade,
the windows and window lintels, roofs and associated elements,
and the grounds, as well as the plumbing, electrical and mechanical
systems.
Our
comprehensive reports include: specific and detailed recommendations
for remediation as applicable, and maintenance and repair cost
projections over an extended time frame of the client's choice.
2.
Preparation of drawings and specifications for recommended maintenance
and repair work for all of the aforementioned building items.
3.
All Department of Buildings expediting services: research to determine
the status of applications and Certificate of Occupancies (C of
O), filing of applications for alterations, securing of permits,
removal of violations and obtaining of original or updated C of
O's. These services include all local municipalities in addition
to New York City.
4. Property surveys (Land Survey Services).
